My daughter can always get me to try a project I have never done before just to put a smile on her face. The project she has gotten me to try today is, a tutu. You ever see those tutu's in the store for the lil girls and thought "how cute!" but was not willing to spend the hefty price for them? Well I have a solution that is inexpensive, easy and fun. You can make your own! I will post a tutorial on how to make your own in a later post, so please come back if you want to learn how to make your own inexpensive tutu. The picture is a teaser to what my baby's tutu is coming out like.
She is so excited and I cant wait to finish it for her.

My Mother's Child
My mom turned 53 this year, amazing that she is just as feisty now as she was when she was in her 20's . She is now a grandmother to 12 beautiful young kids and she loves pictures of her grandchildren. She loves them so much that when ever she visits, pictures of our kids walk away with her. It's a inside joke between my husband and I, that if we ever need to find a missing pic of the kids just go over and check my mom's wall. You are sure to find the pic in a frame hanging on her wall or on a shelf. So when I thought of the perfect gift to give her for her birthday, a photo album filled with pictures of her grand kids seemed perfect for her!
I used my Cricut with the Give a Hoot cartridge, my Cuttlebug for the embossing, and Yourstory Photo to bind my photo album. It was quick and simple to make, and I am sure she will cherish and love it for years to come! XoXo

Studying for finals
As you see I have not made any posts in 2 weeks, I have a really good reason. I am studying for my finals that are due 4/25, I usually place myself on a strict no crafting/no social sites diet :-) when finals come around. I hop to be back and posting soon as this is all over. I am excited to share all I know and have learned about creating with you. On a side note: I found a great deal on some fabric at Walmart last night, I got 20 yd of fabric for $1.50!!! I was so excited I had to contain myself from creating with it last night. I shall return soon, pray I pass my finals and I hope you all have a great week!

Something for my daughters
Today was a long day! I made two different style baby booties for my 2 month old and two dresses as well. I feel so accomplished and proud to be able to make clothes for my kids and how nothing is off limits as long as I have my sewing machine, my serger, some thread and beautiful fabric! My 4 year old is loving that mommy can and will make her as many dresses as her heart desires. Without further delay I present to you my newest creations!(Please excuse the photos, I took them with my phone)
I hope I have inspired you to "Make Something" today, anything will do as long as your creating. Thanks for stopping in! XoXo
